PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: 6 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how A63 Digital Limited (“A63 Digital”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects,
uses, and protects personal data when you use our products, software, services, and website,
including our software-as-a-service platform AutoLens and our WordPress plugin Alt Text
(together, the “Products”).
We are committed to protecting your personal data and handling it in accordance with the EU
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988–2018, and
other applicable law.

1. WHO WE ARE

A63 Digital Limited
Registered in Ireland — Company No. 765877
Registered office: Knockroe, Kilcoole, Greystones, Co. Wicklow, A63 P024
Contact: info@a63digital.com
For most personal data described in this policy, A63 Digital is the data controller. Where we
process personal data on behalf of a business customer (see Section 3), that customer is the
controller and A63 Digital acts as a processor.

2. CONTROLLER VERSUS PROCESSOR

It is important to distinguish two roles, because AutoLens in particular involves both:
Where A63 Digital is the controller — We decide why and how personal data is processed. This
applies to data about our own account holders, website visitors, and prospective customers (for
example, your name, email, billing details, and how you use our Products).
Where A63 Digital is the processor — Our business customers (for example, a garage using
AutoLens) upload or generate data about their own customers. In that situation, the business
customer is the controller and decides why and how that data is used; A63 Digital processes it
only on their documented instructions to provide the Product. Our handling of that data is
governed by a data processing agreement with the business customer, and this Privacy Policy
describes our practices as a processor where relevant.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 May 2026

A63 Digital Limited (“A63 Digital”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have when using our websites, software products, SaaS platforms (such as AutoLens), WordPress plugins (such as Alt Text), and related services. By using our websites or products, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

A63 Digital Limited is a software company based in Dublin, Ireland. Where we determine how and why your personal data is processed, we act as the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Controller vs. Processor

Our role under data protection law depends on the product and how it is used:

  • Where we are the controller. For our marketing websites, account sign-ups, billing, and direct customer relationships, A63 Digital decides how personal data is handled and is the controller.
  • Where we are a processor. When a business customer uses one of our SaaS platforms or plugins to process data about their own clients, staff, or end users (for example, vehicle or job records processed through AutoLens, or images handled by the Alt Text plugin), that business customer is the controller. In those cases A63 Digital acts as a data processor, processing data only on the customer’s documented instructions and under a separate Data Processing Agreement where required.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Depending on the product or service, we may collect your name, email address, business information, billing details, account details, and the content of any support enquiries you send us.

Technical information

We may automatically collect limited technical information including browser type, IP address, device information, operating system, usage analytics, and error logs. This helps us maintain reliability, performance, and security.

Product and platform data

Some products process operational data, uploaded media, customer communication records, or workflow information depending on the platform and how the customer configures it. The specific data processed varies by product. Unless stated otherwise in a product’s documentation, our WordPress plugins interact with your WordPress database, media library, WooCommerce data, and any third-party services you enable, and we do not permanently store your website content on external servers beyond what is needed to deliver the feature you requested.

4. How We Use Your Information & Legal Bases

Under GDPR we must have a lawful basis for each use of your personal data. The table below summarises the main purposes and the basis we rely on.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object to that processing (see Your Rights below).

5. AI & Third-Party Services

AI providers

Some products integrate with third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, Google (Gemini), and Anthropic (Claude). Where applicable, customer data or uploaded media may be transmitted directly to these providers in order to generate responses, automation outputs, or AI-assisted content such as image alt text or document recognition. Customers are responsible for reviewing the privacy policies and terms of any third-party AI providers used through our products.

Payment providers

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, including Paddle, which may act as merchant of record. We do not store full payment card details on A63 Digital systems.

Communication providers

Some products use third-party communication providers for email delivery, SMS notifications, WhatsApp messaging, and transactional alerts. Additional charges may apply depending on the provider used.

6. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers — including certain AI, hosting, and communication providers — are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such as in the United States. When we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where relevant, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can request more detail about these safeguards by contacting us.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations (such as tax and accounting requirements), maintain operational records, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by product and service. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Your Rights

If you are located in the EEA, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • access to your personal data;
  • correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”);
  • restriction of processing;
  • objection to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • data portability; and
  • withdrawal of consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@a63digital.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In Ireland, this is the Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie).

9. Cookies & Analytics

Our websites may use cookies and analytics tools to improve your experience, monitor website performance, analyse traffic, and measure marketing effectiveness. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, which you can manage or withdraw at any time through our cookie banner or your browser settings. Essential cookies needed for the site to function may be set without consent.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no online platform can guarantee complete security, and you share information with us at your own risk.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our products and services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

12. Third-Party Links

Our websites and products may contain links to third-party websites or services. A63 Digital is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party platforms, and we encourage you to review their policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
